The Tent is a concept from We’re Dough Bakery & Cafe, a Houston bakery on Westheimer that specializes in authentic Lebanese sweets, savory pastries, and traditional dishes including Sajj, Fakhar eggs, Kaak, and Lahme bil Ajiin. The team is also behind Suzie’s Pastry Shoppe, an authentic European & Mediterranean bakery on Richmond Ave in Sharpstown.
Recently, the team opened their brand new hookah cafe concept: Al Khaimeh, or The Tent. Located in the Sharpstown area, The Tent is a glimmering new coffee shop styled with pitched ceilings, immersive ambient lighting, and a tapestry of rich, intricate textiles.
The Tent is comprised of a variety indoor and outdoor areas, each with its own cultural flavor and charm. This includes a playground outside for the young ones.
