This Monday will see a legendary moment for the city as Houston’s two longstanding MLK Grande Parade and the Black Heritage Society MLK Day Parade unite for one incredible celebration of the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Under the banner of “Embracing the Oneness of Humanity”, the inaugural MLK Unity Parade in Houston will begin at 10 am at the intersection of Smith St. and Lamar St. in Downtown, Houston. A MLK Festival will take place afterwards, around 1 pm, at Tranquility Park.
