The Houston area is home to some of the best coffee shops in the US (source: us); from a coffee shop inside a motorcycle repair shop, to a cafe built from containers, the city seems to have a wide variety of quirky, unique cafes. Just outside Houston, however, there’s a coffee house a notch above the rest – at least from an elevation standpoint.
Located in the timbers of Magnolia, nestled in a zombie garden among a colony of turtles, is Tree House Cafe – a coffee shop and restaurant built in the fashion of a treehouse. Opened in 2012 – then as Family Tree Recipes – the Tree House Cafe quickly became a staple of the community.
