1. 64th Annual Houston St. Patrick’s Parade
The Houston St. Patrick’s Day celebration has been a cherished tradition for many years, honoring Irish culture since the 1880s. Originating as a day of enjoyment with activities like food, music, and games at Houston’s Market Square, the event has evolved over time into one of the nation’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, while still maintaining its original spirit.
Downtown Houston is turning green this weekend with the return of the city’s grand St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Kicking off at Dallas Street at noon, Saturday March 15, the City will celebrate the Irish-themed holiday with a festive procession of 100 floats, bands, an Irish Stew Cook-Off and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

2. POST Houston St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Following the Houston St. Patrick’s Parade, post-parade festivities will be held at POST Houston. Here, the market will reprise its rich annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration with a massive Irish-themed market, food, games, bands, folk dances, and more.
The venue will also host a special Pot O’Gold Scavenger Hunt, wherein organizers have squirreled away seven Leprechauns throughout the main spaces. Those who find the treasures will receive special prizes including access to the venue’s concert, Art Club, and more.

3. 4th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party at Ducky McShweeney’s

Opened back in March 2022, Ducky McShweeney’s is an Irish bar in Houston that features numerous dart boards, an 8-tap beer roster, cozy furniture and a gatropub menu.
This weekend, the bar is hosting its 4th annual block party on Monday, March 17. The event is set to feature, live music, drink specials, DJs, and more. The free party kicks off at 11 am.

4. Go on the Kiss Me, I’m Irish Bar Crawl St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
Taking place Saturday, March 15, and Monday March 17, Houstonians can enjoy drink specials, coverless entry, and camaraderie at the annual bar crawl. Participating venues include: Leon’s, The Maple Leaf Pub, Front Porch Pub, Wooster’s Garden, Reset, Pour Behavior, Playground, and The Dogwood. Wristband holders will have special access to the bars’ various drink specials.

Starting at 4 pm on Saturday, March 15, 2025, the Lucky’s St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl will comprise of eight venues including FAO HTX, Unicorn Disco, Christian’s Tailgate Bar & Grill, Lone Star Saloon, Wonder Bar, and more. Participants will enjoy 2-3 drinks or shots with different voucher options, beads, food specials, and an after-party. Check-in is at FAO HTX.

Houston’s beloved brewery will be hosting a special St. Patrick’s Day celebration at its beer garden and restaurant this coming Monday.
