The recent closure of Railway Heights Market seemed to bode unwell for Houston’s food hall scene. But a few short months later, it seems the opposite is true. The team behind Bravery Chef Hall and The Conservatory, are ready to open Conservatory Galleria, a new three-story food hall in Houston housed in the former Roxy Nightclub.
What to eat/drink?
The new Houston food hall will feature 11 food vendors:
- Bird Haus
- Blk Mkt Birria
- Clutch City Grill
- Cvche Kitchen
- La Taquiza Street Tacos
- Luv’em Leches
- The Pita-Ria
- Rollin’ Phatties
- Seoulside Wings
- Thrive Juices
- Wokker
Additionally, the space will feature two bar concepts including the upstairs Roxy Room, a cocktail lounge that nods to its predecessor. Both bars will be managed by the team behind Reset Rooftop Lounge.
What’s the vibe?
Conservatory Galleria spans three stories and is filled with lush accents and natural light. Its partners made a conscious effort to create an environment more soothing than sterile, according to Houston Chronicle. The food hall features a variety of seating options, be it bar seating in pockets across the food hall as well as lounge-style seating with tables varied in size, catering to parties up to 8 people.
When will it open?
The slated opening date of Conservatory Galleria is Monday, February 19. Once open and in operation, the food hall will be open from 8 am to 1 pm every day. From noon to 7 pm, Conservatory will feature Happy Hour with drink specials.
Where is it?
The Conservatory Galleria will be located in the Galleria area at 5351 W. Alabama in the 12,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Roxy Nightclub.
What’s the parking situation?
Free parking will be available at Conservatory Galleria with 450 available spots between its garage and parking lot.
