Houston Astros Opening Day

Baseball is back, baby. This Thursday, the Houston Astros are hosting their home opener against the New York Mets at Daikin Park as the first official game since the name change.
In addition to the baseball match-up, numerous festivities will be held throughout the city including the Opening Day Street Fest from noon to 3 pm. The Street Fest will feature a range of activations for the whole family including live music, giveaways, food trucks, balloon displays, and more.

Montrose Country Club is a newly opened in oasis in Houston fit with a pool, courtyard, patio bar, and restaurant. The venue is open to the public, with pool passes available starting at $20. Its restaurant is head by Executive Chef Diego Chairello, who’s appeared on The Food Network and past resume includes his stint as the head pastry chef of Montrose’s La Sicilia Bakery.
