3. Party at Railway Heights Market
This Sunday, Railway Heights Market is throwing a Fourth of July food festival and celebration. Food-wise, the event is set to feature BBQ, hot dogs, a whole roasted pig, and seafood boil. The celebration, beginning at 5 pm, will also feature live music, pop-up vendors, as well as activities for the children.
4-6. Swim, Float, and Do Other Water Activities
Presently, the weather forecast is predicting rainfall over the next few days. But we all know how fickle forecasts are. In case of sun, and summer heat, we recommend indulging in these nautical activities in and outside Houston.

8. Club Down at Babylon in Houston
Jet Hospitality, a Denver-based nightlife group, is bringing Babylon to Bayou City with their massive and exotic new nightclub. Located in the space formerly occupied by Howl at the Moon, the club will hold its grand opening celebration July 4th weekend. The ceremony is set to feature interactive experiences, live performances, and exotic animals.
9. Check Out Galveston Island State Park’s New Renovations
