Go big this year for America’s 250th birthday! If you’re hoping to blend your Fourth celebration with a little beach vacay — head down to the Kemah Boardwalk. Featuring a full day of patriotic celebrations, live music, and more: the boardwalk will cap off the night with an incredible fireworks display over the Gulf.
Live entertainment at Kemah Boardwalk’s 4th of July Celebration will kick off at 12:30 pm with a towering Uncle Sam Stilt Walker. Running until 9:30 pm, the boardwalk will host a DJ & balloon artist, kids crafts zone, and LED robot.

The boardwalk will also host live music, including live performances by Yelba from 2 pm – 6 pm followed by Timeless HTX from 7 pm – 11 pm.
There will also be the FantaSea 4th of July Cruise. Running from 8 pm – 11 pm, the cruise experience includes a dual-entree meal, live DJ, as well as an up-close view of the fireworks display over the water. The cruise, however, is completely sold-out.
The Fourth of July celebration at Kemah Boardwalk is completely free to attend, however there is a parking fee.

In other Kemah news, the boardwalk announced earlier this year that construction is presently underway on a new waterpark. Called “Boardwalk Bay“, the waterpark will be a family-friendly, pirate-themed attraction featuring eight water slides, attractions, and rides. Officials plan to open Boardwalk Bay in early 2027.
If the Kemah Boardwalk Fourth of July doesn’t sound like your thing, consider Freedom Over Texas at Eleanor Tinsley. Described as the biggest Fourth of July celebration in Texas, the all-day festival will feature a massive lineup of vendors, live music performances by the likes of Keith Urban, Los Lonely Boys, and Collective Soul, as well as a Texas-sized fireworks display.
