Get ready for an unforgettable Fourth of July as Freedom Over Texas returns to Houston! This year’s celebration is pulling out all the stops for America’s 250th birthday, complete with endless vendors, fireworks, and blockbuster music performances.
Main Stage Music Performances
This year, Freedom Over Texas will stage a stellar lineup of artists. Headlining this year’s Fourth of July in Houston, is country icon, Keith Urban. But that’s not all, the festival will also feature performances by Los Lonely Boys and Collective Soul. Officials have not yet released specific details about stage times.
Following Keith Urban, the festival will light up the sky with a Texas-sized fireworks display at 9:30 pm.
Freedom Over Texas Event Zones
Throughout the festival grounds, attendees will be able to enjoy a number of dedicated event zones.
Bud Light
Budweiser is hosting a tropical beer garden where visitors can enjoy cold brews, a festive atmosphere, and a stellar view of the live performances and evening fireworks.
Dr Pepper Flavor Zone
Freedom Over Texas in Houston will also feature a Dr. Pepper Parlor. Located off the Dr. Pepper Stage, the family-friendly area will offer a variety of cold treats, tastings, and more.
All American Kid Zone
The All American Kid Zone will feature free games, face painting, and interactive educational activities for all ages. Furthermore, the area will be populated with costumed characters, strolling entertainers, and meet-and-greets with hometown sports teams – all while DJ London spins tracks to keep the energy high all day long.
Liberty Park
In observance of Independence Day, Liberty Park will present a dedicated tribute to the Armed Forces and First Responders.
2026 Futbol Park
Alongside the festival’s stellar music lineup, Freedom Over Texas is rolling out an exciting array of brand-new attractions this year, including Futbol Park. In honor of the World Cup, officials are hosting a soccer fan zone at Sam Houston Park, where attendees can participate in a variety of interactive, soccer-themed games and activities.

Freedom Over Texas will take over Eleanor Tinsley Park and Sam Houston Park along Allen Parkway from 3 pm – 10 pm on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Tickets to Freedom Over Texas in Houston are priced at $15 and are available directly through the city website here. Children 12 and under are allowed free entrance.
