Here’s where to catch Fourth of July fireworks in Houston: from festivals to rooftop parties, waterparks, & more

Freedom Over Texas returns to Eleanor Tinsley Park and Sam Houston Park on July 4, 2026, featuring headliner Keith Urban with support from Los Lonely Boys and Collective Soul, themed fan zones, vendors, and a Texas-sized fireworks show at 9:30 pm.

Tomball will shut down a highway this Fourth of July to pave the way for a massive street festival. Throughout the evening, the event will feature food trucks, local vendors, and live music by the Willow Creek Band. Furthermore, festival will host a screening of National Treasure, a tribute to Armed Forces, as well as an epic fireworks display to cap the night off. The event is completely free to attend.

Valley Ranch will host its 4th Fest at The Hill to mark America’s 250th anniversary. The outdoor gathering will feature live musical performances by Joey Green and Payton Howie. Additionally, the festival will feature a local marketplace, yard games, throwback food contests, food court, bar, kids zone, and more.

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to set up on the grounds for the evening. Officials will host a spectacular fireworks display to conclude the night’s celebrations.

Baytown’s Independence Day celebration is one of the Houston area’s largest Fourth of July events, typically drawing thousands of attendees. This year, organizers are taking things to the next level.

Alongside the classic fireworks, family-friendly activities, and local food and craft vendors, the festival will feature a star-studded musical lineup.

The festival will feature a main stage where visitors can enjoy performances by DJ Boris, Selestial Acloser, Mustache the Band, and the festival’s headlining act, Eli Young Band.

In celebration of America’s 250th, the festival will feature a pie baking contests, Frontier Day exhibits, kids wagon parade, cannon demonstrations, as well as an on-site bald eagle.

In honor of America’s 250th, POST is set to host a massive foam party on one of the best rooftops in Houston. Throughout the evening, the event will feature music, foam cannons, and rooftop bars.

Ahead of the Freedom Over Texas fireworks display, Skylawn at POST will also stage a performance by Rapture tribute band. The event is completely free with reservation.

To make a day out of it, POST will also feature a special Fourth of July-version of Coffee & Cars beginning at 9 am. For the kiddos, the venue will host a family-friendly foam party at 11 am.

Kemah Boardwalk will host a full day of patriotic events this July 4th. With the festivities kicking off at 12:30 pm, the event will feature an Uncle Sam Stilt Walker, kids’ activities, live music performances, and a spectacular fireworks display over the Gulf.

The celebration is completely free to attend, though a parking fee is required.

The Woodlands will host its annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival across five local parks, with live bands, children’s activities, and pyrotechnics.

Town Green Park will anchor the celebration with two music stages, a special effects display, and a direct vantage point for the primary fireworks show.

Northshore Park will feature the America 250 drone show right before the main fireworks, alongside local performances and the presentation of the Fourth of July Parade Awards.

Meanwhile, Waterway Square will launch a dedicated fireworks display directly from its parking garage.

Hughes Landing will provide additional live music by D’Luna, while attendees choosing Rob Fleming Park will find a focused, fireworks-only viewing experience to conclude the holiday.

Ahead of the festival, the 50th Annual South County 4th of July Parade will roll out at 9 am, featuring live bands, marching bands, and fire trucks through Market Street.

Celebrate this Fourth of July at the Miller Outdoor Theatre with the free annual Star-Spangled Banner Salute! Enjoy sweeping orchestral renditions of classic patriotic ballads — including 1812 Overture, The Stars and Stripes Forever, and America the Beautiful — culminating in a breathtaking fireworks grand finale.

The event is completely free, but tickets are required. Parties can find tickets through the Miller Outdoor Theatre website, available on Friday, July 3rd.

Constellation Field will host its second annual Independence Day celebration to mark the 250th anniversary of the country.

The stadium grounds will feature a full evening of live music, food vendors, and interactive activities, including face painting and inflatables directly on the baseball field.

A large-scale fireworks display over the stadium will cap off the event.

Big Rivers will host a full-day celebration to mark America’s 250th anniversary. Visitors will have access to the waterpark, fairground rides, and various patriotic eats. If feeling particularly patriotic, attendants can participate in the park’s annual hotdog-eating contest. At night, Big Rivers will host an epic fireworks display.

Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster House will host an Independence Day party on the Galveston Bay waterfront. The coastal restaurant will feature live music, carnival games, face painting, performers, and July Fourth drink specials.

Visitors can watch fireworks show directly over the water from the restaurant’s expansive terrace. The kitchen will serve tide-to-table Gulf Coast dishes and freshly shucked oysters from Prestige Oysters.

Kings Harbor Waterfront Village will host a community Fourth of July celebration on Sunday, July 5. The Lake Houston-area event is open to the public and features a variety of evening activities designed for families.

Children will have access to open play areas along the waterfront, along with treats and free entertainment. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to set up on the grounds, with dinner options available for purchase from the restaurants located within the Kings Harbor complex.

Free to attend, the holiday weekend celebration will conclude with a fireworks display over Lake Houston.
