Houston’s bar scene is a weird and wonderful place. From intergalactic space bars, to container cantinas, and David Lynch-like nightclubs, going out in Houston can be an experience.
Now, you can immerse yourself at The DRINQUE, a new glow-in-the-dark bar tucked inside Seismique’s immersive art museum.

Before Meow Wolf in Houston, there was Seismique. Opened in 2021, the celestial exhibit that delves an otherworldly fusion of immersive experiences, artificial intelligence, and landscapes reminiscent of alien worlds.
Spanning 40 galleries, featuring 111 projectors, occupying 40,000 square feet, and illuminated by 9 million LED lights, the exhibit transports visitors into alien realms brimming with creativity, imagination, and awe.
Earlier this March, the exhibit debuted their new glow-in-the-dark bar called The DRINQUE. Imbued with celestial lighting fixtures, futuristic accents, and an otherwise cosmic vibe: the bar emulates the otherworldy vibes encountered elsewhere in Seismique.
Here, patrons can enjoy all the bar classics, including craft beer, wine, ciders, and cocktails. The space also features a pool table.

In addition to The DRINQUE, Seismique also houses the Cosmique Cafe, where space cadets can fuel up on food and non-alcoholic drinks.
The DRINQUE is open at Seismique from 5 pm to 9 pm on Thursdays, from 5 pm to 11 pm Fridays, and from 2 pm to 11 pm on Saturdays, and from 2 pm to 9 pm on Sundays.
Visitors can get tickets to Seismique through its website. Adult tickets are priced at $35 and $28 for children 12 and under. Interested parties can also opt for VIP tickets, in which ticket buyers can check out the exhibit at any time throughout the day rather than choose a specific time slot. VIP ticket holders can also bypass the line for the Acid Rain Room.
