1. Freedom Over Texas
The Houston area’s famed Freedom Over Texas firework extravaganza and Fourth of July celebration returns to Eleanor Tinsley Park in Houston this six hours on non-stop entertainment!
Expecting around 50,000 attendees, the festival features local to national entertainment including performances from Ashley McBryde and Lee Brice – all capped off with a Texas-sized firework display. Proceeds will also go toward the Houston Food Bank.

2. POST Houston
To get even closer to the fireworks (elevation-wise), POST Houston provide idyllic views to the Freedom Over Texas display. The sky-high Fourth of July bash will feature an array of amazing entertainment including performances from Alias Band and the Houston Brass Band along with cirque performers, face painting, balloon artists, and more.

3. Kemah Boardwalk
Go Bayside this Fourth of July at Kemah Boardwalk. Here, visitors can enjoy a day-long celebration of live music, including performances from Clutch City and Kalico, as well as fireworks popping off over the boardwalk. For the ultimate experience, check out the Boardwalk Beast Cruise, a short excursion that gives visitors a sight of the fireworks from the bay waters.

4. Galveston Fourth of July Parade
In greater Galveston, the island will be hosting Fourth of July fun ranging from its Seawall Boulevard parade (kicking off at 6 pm), where a vibrant procession of bands, floats, and festivities will course through the streets. Come night time, find a good rooftop or sandy shore to catch the fireworks!

5. Kings Harbor Waterfront Village
The 20-acre waterfront community of Kings Harbor will host a special Fourth of July celebration on the fifth of July this year. The annual celebration will feature an extravaganza of family-friendly festivities, live entertainment, kids’ activities, and more – all topped off with a “Fireworks on the Pier” spectacle beginning around 10 pm.

6. The Woodlands Fireworks
The Woodlands will be hosting a free, two-day Fourth of July celebration this year! Kicking off on July 3, The Woodlands will host the Houston Symphony along with arts, crafts, and family-friendly patriotic events.
On July 4, The Woodlands will host the annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival with live bands on multiple stages performing from 6 pm – 9:30 pm. Visitors can chose to celebrate at multiple locations in the area including Town Green Park, Northshore Park, Waterway Square, Rob Fleming Park, and Hughes Landing.
The main 18-minute firework show will kick off at 9:30 pm primarily in Lake Woodlands at Northshore Park, with the second best local at Town Green park.

7. Star Spangled Banner Salute at Miller Outdoor Theatre
The Miller Outdoor Theatre will be hosting its free annual Star-Spangled Banner Salute concert series this Fourth of July with orchestral renditions of patriotic ballads. Following which, the theater will host its grand finale: a breathtaking firework display.

8. Baytown July 4 Celebration
As one of the largest Fourth of July events in Houston area, Baytown’s Independence Day celebration regularly draws around 20,000 attendants. This year, officials have something special up their sleeve. In addition to family activities, food and craft vendors, and fireworks, the Baytown celebration will feature a headlining performance from Ezra Ray Hart – featuring Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra, Emerson Hart of Tonic, and Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray – as well as other live music performances.

9. Sugarland Red, White, and Boom
Constellation Field in Sugar Land will host a special Fourth of July celebration this year with a festive array of food, playgrounds, and live music. The event will also feature face painting and inflatables for the kiddos, as well as a MoonShot Alley. All of which will be topped off with a spectacular fireworks finale.

10. Jersey Village City Parade and Fireworks
Get into the patriotic spirits this Independence Day at Jersey Village’s parade and festival. Starting at 10 am on the fourth, the area will host a local parade followed by a festival at 6 pm. Here visitors can enjoy live music from the Red Not Chili Peppers, as well as a craft vendor fair, food trucks, and fireworks popping off for the finale! The event is free to attend!

11. 4th of July Parade Seabrook
Seabrook will be hosting a special, free Fourth of July parade kicking off at 9:30 am on the Fourth, running from Miramar Shopping Center to Rex L. Meador Park. After the parade, visitors are invited to celebrate at its festival. Here, attractions include a dunking booth, hayrides, snow cones, hot dogs, a bounce house, and more.

12. Pasadena 4th Fest
Kicking off at 4 pm on the 4th, Pasadena 4th Fest will feature a free afternoon celebration for the whole family. Food trucks, beverage, and market vendors will be on-site, as well as a Kids Zone, ballon artist, face painter, amusement rides, and inflatable areas. At 9:15 pm, the event will blast off into the stratosphere with fireworks.

13. Houston Fourth Fest
Head over to Vintage Park in Northwest Houston for the second annual Houston Fourth Fest this Independence Day. Here, officials will be hosting a dazzling celebration that’ll include a hot dog eating contest, beer mile, and a 5k, 9k, and and 17.76k road races.

14. Heights & Co.
Celebrate this Fourth of July in Houston 2025 with a screening of one of the most iconic Independence Day movies of all time – Independence Day. Heights & Co. bar and patio will be screening the action-packed patriotic thriller alongside its patriotic beverage program including the Bourbon Root Beer Float on top of $10 margs, Aperol Spritz, and beer deals.

15. City of Bellaire Parade & Festival
Floats, food, and festivities are in store for the Baytown 4th of July Celebration! Kicking off at 9 am, the parade will commence with a patriotic assortment of floats, bands, and processions along with a children’s bike parade followed by a festival at Great Lawn and in Loftin Park.

16. Big Rivers Waterpark
Celebrate Fourth of July at the waterpark! But not just any waterpark, Big Rivers Waterpark in New Caney is a sprawling amusement park filled with water, land, and sky attractions. From the longest lazy river in Houston to towering water slides, rollercoasters, and more there’s no end to the entertainment at Big Rivers Waterpark. To cap off their festivities this Friday, Big Rivers Waterpark will launch its largest fireworks display to date!
