Sugar Land is set to step into the spotlight. REAL Shows Network (RSN) has announced Sugar Land Living – a new, locally hosted real estate reality show showcasing the suburb’s real estate and lifestyle.
Hosted by Mickey Patel, a local real estate leader, the show airs in 30-minute episodes on realshows.tv. Per a press release, the show aims to highlight properties and neighborhoods in the area; local businesses, community organizations, and non-profits; and the stories of local residents.
“As host of Sugar Land Living, my goal is to shine a light on the people and places that make Houston such a special place to call home,” said Mickey Patel, host of Sugar Land Living, in a press release. “From longtime local businesses to new voices in our community, we want viewers to see themselves and their neighbors reflected on screen.”

Sugar Land Living is produced by RSN. The national television network focuses on localized, community-driven media that blends residential real estate with local culture. Some of its programs include: Selling Arizona, Across the Water, and Nashville Next Door.
The company has not yet revealed when shows will air on its network.
Sugar Land officials are presently seeking a developer to transform the 40-acre Imperial Historic District into a vibrant, mixed-use district. Notably, the plans call for the preservation and adaptation of the historic Char House.
This past winter, officials launched Sugar Land Social District. Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 games, the new social district allows visitors to patronize local bars, restaurants, and businesses while responsibly drinking alcoholic drinks outdoors.
Sugar Land will also be an Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter, committing $2.5 million to World Cup programming.
