Trill Burgers continues to win the hearts and tastebuds of the masses. Following the likes of Mike Tyson, Drake, Big Boi, and more, NBA legend, DJ, commentator, and chicken-franchise owner, Shaquille O’ Neal, paid homage to award-winning burger joint in Houston.
After securing the title for the “Best Burger in North America”, Trill Burgers established a brick-and-mortar in Montrose at the former James Coney Island location. Since then, the restaurant has been the subject of neighborhood-long lines seeking to try the best burger in North America.
In addition to masses of Houstonians, a number of high-profile musicians, athletes, and more, have gone out of their way to get their hands on Trill Burgers. The latest of which was Shaquille O’Neal. The fellow restaurant owner made an appearance at the store yesterday, where he appeared to revel in his Baby G Trill Meal.

“That Trill Burger alright, boy,” Shaq said. “That’s hot. I already knew it’s good. I’ve been hearing about it.”
This past week, Trill Burgers’ chef and co-owner, Mike Pham, added to the restaurants’ accolades by winning the “Burger Impossible” episode of Chopped.
Trill Burgers focuses on crafting West Coast-style hamburgers, commonly known as smashburgers. These burgers are precisely as they sound: they feature slender, compacted patties with a delightful crunch on the edges and a toasted taste. The restaurant is currently card only.
As stated, Shaquille O’Neal is also in the food business. This past spring, his hot chicken franchise, Big Chicken, debuted at 9630 Westheimer Rd.
