It’s Halloween season and Houston is here for it. As we carve out time to visit our local haunts, horror amusement parks, and scare-your-socks-off haunted houses, we’ve been anxiously awaiting to see what the folks at Popfancy Dessert Bar have in store for us.
Houston’s renowned pop-up venue, known for its Stranger Things, Barbie Dreamworld, and most recently, pirate pop-up, have unveiled their newest Halloween pop-up in Houston: a terrific Seance Room experience now open in Houston.
“Take a step into our immersive haunted mansion and prepare to feast on a bevy of magical concoctions, enjoy live entertainment on weekends, cosplay fun, comedy nights, scary stories in the dark, potion making classes, and more,” the venue wrote in an Instagram post.

The dessert bar and venue is known for its over-the-top decor, enticing bites, and spirited festivities.
From October 13 to November 5, we expect the venue to be adorned in cobwebs, flickering candles, and other accents common in the underworld.
Throughout its stay, The Seance Room at Popfancy Dessert Bar will feature themed weekends, including coven: witchcraft & wizardry (October 13 – 19), thirst for blood: vampires and the macabre (October 20 – 26), thriller killers: retro slasher icons (October 17 – November 2), and possessed: cursed objects (November 3 – 5).
Stay tuned for more details on the pop-up as well as the featured menu of themed eats and drinks.
Like all the venue’s pop-up, The Seance Room is completely free to the public. The venue does, however, encourage visitors to reserve a fast pass online on weekends to reduce wait times. Walk-ins are welcome from Monday to Thursday
