Houston is undeniably fortunate when it comes to food. Apart from its charming bistros, cafes, and restaurants, an assortment of excellent food trucks traverse the city from dawn to dusk. This January, a new food truck hot spot is opening in Atascocita area of Houston.
On Saturday, January 13, Porky’s Backyard will make its debut in Humble. Located at 5131 Atascocita Rd, Porky’s Backyard is a two-story, 10,000-square-foot, racing-themed food truck park and bar to be enjoyed by the whole family.
Porky’s will be the new home of 16 food trucks, ranging from cajun, to barbecue and desserts, 40 beers on tap, 15 big screen TVs, as well as 12 racing machines including state-of-the-art F1 racing simulators. The park is pet and kid friendly.

The space will also include yard games and a 2,000-square-foot mezzanine and private event space, and dual children’s play spaces according to Community Impact.
Whereas the food trucks are concerned, Porky’s Backyard will host The Chicken Coop HTX, That One Place, Bebecitas HTX, Asian Fusion 15, and Rocos Grill & Smokehouse, among others.
The food truck park is also reportedly working with The Car Culture, local car show coordinators, to host future car meets.

Porky’s Backyard opens at 5131 Atascocita Rd. in Humble on Saturday, January 13. Its grand opening will be held between 8 and 11 am. Once up and running, Porky’s Backyard will be open from 11 am to 10 pm on weekdays, and from 11 am to 11 pm on weekends.
