This year is gearing up to be a good one for Houston’s culinary scene. Following the opening of Postscript, Chicken N Pickle, Porky’s, and The Canary, the city’s food scene continues to grow and expand in the best ways possible. Latest on the scene is the new Haywire, a Plano-based Texas concept born in Plano featuring a 20,000-square-foot dining experience and party barn in Memorial.
The restaurant is a concept of FB Society. The culinary group is behind a number of prosperous dining concepts across the state including Velvet Taco, Sixty Vines, Son of a Butcher, The Ranch at Las Colinas, Mexican Sugar, Whiskey Cake, and The Food Hall Company.
Haywire is a Southern-spun dining experience renowned for its farm-to-fork southern fare, whiskey catalogue, and award-winning wine cellar with over 400 bottles of wine.
Signature plates at Haywire include Elk Tacos, Tomahawk ribeye, and The Lump Crab.
“I’m honored to be a part of Haywire’s expansion into Houston, a city that embodies the spirit of Texas hospitality,” said Jane Crouse, Managing Partner of Haywire Houston.
“Our commitment to locally sourced ingredients and genuine hospitality underscores our dedication to providing an unparalleled dining experience for our guests.”
Haywire is now open at 947 North Gessner Road in Memorial – it’s biggest outpost yet. Haywire features multiple levels encompassing 20,000 square feet of space with a number of distinctive dining spaces catering to parties small and large. Most notably, Haywire features a 2,000-square-foot, 100-seat Party Barn complete with its own bar.
“We’re super excited to bring the best of Texas to our newest Haywire in Houston,” said Jack Gibbons, CEO of FB Society. “Haywire is all about modern Texas vibes with great wines and whiskeys, locally sourced food, and a daily celebration of the good life. It’s a place to kick back and enjoy everything Texas has to offer. The name Haywire really says it all—come in, let loose, and have some fun.”
