Gap Concepts, the team behind XOXO Dining Room, a positively pink palace in Dallas – a place typified by cupcake ferris wheels, champagne buttons, and sparkling drinks – plans to bring its latest concept to Houston. This fall, the business will debut PostScript HTX at Arrive River Oaks.
Headed by Gap Concepts’ Veeral Rathod and Obi Ibeto, PostScript HTX will feature bubbly weekend brunches, girl night hangs, and celebratory dinners at the Arrive River Oaks mixed-use development come this fall.
“We love the safe, supportive and high energy environment that has occurred organically in Dallas at XOXO Dining Room, and we’re aiming for the same at PostScript HTX with an experience tailormade for this sophisticated site,” said GAP Concepts founder and managing partner, Rathod, the former CEO of Spence Diamonds.
Much like the XOXO Dining Room, Postscript HTX will feature a stunning, saturated, and undoubtedly Instagrammable interior. Formerly occupied by Del Frisco’s Grille, the new 9,300-square-foot space designed by Jeffrey Abel of Abel Design Group is set to feature a 393-seat main dining room, 75-seat cocktail and dining lounge, 26-seat garden patio.
Furthermore, patrons here will find a private dining space, bar, and patio as well as cozy booths ideal for sharing plates, as well as irreverent cocktails, as well as XOXO’s staple Press for Champagne doorbells.
PostScript HTX will also offer a culinary menu created by Food & Wine Best New Chef-nominated and James Beard Award-finalist Bryan Caswell.
“Bryan has set a delicious tone for us to follow at PostScript HTX,” said Ibeto. “He was intrigued by our pitch for a concept that’s really unlike anything in the city, and with his consulting expertise, our guests are going to be in for a dining treat with the opening menu he has created for us.”
PostScript HTX will also offer an elevated cocktail menu and champagne program to top off the experience.
