Houston’s premier market, rooftop, and concert venue has something wicked in store for the city this Halloween season. On October 28, Post is hosting a massive Halloween ball and Black Carpet event complete with themed cocktails, live performances, and macabre entertainment.
Amid all the costume parties, wicked pop-ups, movie marathons, and other fearfully fun activities this Halloween season, be sure to carve out time on your calendar for Post HTX’s Halloween Ball on October 28.
“Like a Halloween Party from your favorite 90’s movie, the Houston Halloween Ball is the city’s most wicked Costume Party event,” organizers write in an Instagram post.
“Featuring a night of great music, live performances, polaroids, themed cocktails, and spooky fun. Enjoy Live Entertainment by DJ and Producer Alex Lauter, special performances by Aerial Acrobats as they spin above the crowd, and at midnight, a black flame candle shall be lit to summon The Sanderson Sisters.”

The event will also feature a Halloween costume contest, in which every attendee will be able to vote on their favorites, the best of which will be crowned the Houston Halloween Ball’s 2023 Costume Contest Winner.
The Halloween Ball at Post takes place on October 28 between 9 pm and 1:30 am. Tickets are now on sale starting at $39 for General Admission. This includes optional costume contest entry and access to the full Halloween Ball Experience. Other tickets options are available including $49 which entails access to the Black Carpet and Rooftop.
Post is a signature Houston venue that regularly stages some of the most exciting events of the year. Past events have included a West African food festival, 713 Day celebration, and hopefully the returning Winter Wonderlawn.
