Let’s light this candle! Downtown, Houston has already established itself as the holiday epicenter of the city come December, but now, the area is an absolute beacon of holiday entertainment with the opening of “Winter Wonderlawn” at POST Houston.
Houston’s downtown cultural hub, food market, rooftop venue, and merry makers are planning on getting the holiday party started soon this season with the reprisal of their widely popular “Winter Wonderlawn” re-opening for the holiday season on Friday, November 1, available until Sunday, January 11.
“POST is joining the Downtown Holiday Lights Celebration. Skylawn, our 5-acre rooftop park, will be decked out in beautifully illuminated lights and decor,” POST writes on their website.
“Experience 100,000’s of lights, a 25-ft Christmas Tree, and multiple holiday themed activations on Skylawn with the best view of Houston’s skyline as the backdrop.”
Throughout the holiday season POST will host a number of live events including fitness classes, markets, and family activities. POST’s adjacent concert venue, 713 Music Hall, will hosts numerous concerts throughout November and December including Kany Garcia (November 7), Rainbow Kitten Surprise (November 8), Chief Keef (November 9), Latto (November 11), and the Randy Rogers Band (December 21).
The enchanting event, powered by Redfin, opens November 1 and runs until January 11 at POST Houston located at 401 Franklin St. The venue is open from 11 am to 9 pm Sunday through Wednesday and from 11 am to 10 pm Thursday through Saturday. To make things extra special, “Winter Wonderlawn” is open to the public of all ages.
Tickets for Winter Wonderlawn are now on sale beginning at $7 (+ fees) for week nights and ($10) for weekend nights.
