Who doesn’t love a themed space? They’re fun, unique, and most times immersive. In Houston you can find a variety of themed bars and restaurants including, but not limited to, a Tolkienesque cafe, cinema speakeasy, and diner straight out of the ’80s. At Pergola, Houston’s newest restaurant and hookah lounge, every room is a different theme.
Located at 6009 Beverly Hill St. in The Galleria area, Pergola is a new concept restaurant and hookah bar that is as remarkable on the eyes as it is on the tastebuds. The art-forward restaurant space promises to “elevate the dining experience” of its patrons through its vibrant, wall-to-wall decor.
“Welcome to Pergola, the newest upscale hookah restaurant in Houston that promises to elevate your dining experience,” the restaurant writes on its website. “Pergola’s unique concept features different rooms that transport you to various locations and vibes around the world as you enjoy your meal and shisha.”
“Upon entering Pergola, you’ll be greeted by a luxurious lounge area with plush seating and a modern décor that sets the tone for your visit. As you move to the next room, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported to a tropical paradise, with lush greenery and bamboo accents creating a serene ambiance.”
The restaurant menu is divided into starters, entrees, desserts, drinks, and hookah sections. Notable menu options include the Street Elote, Charcuterie Cheese Board, and Filet Mignon Fajitas. For dessert customers can choose between either Creme Brulee or Orange Creme Brulee.
In addition to soft drinks and coffees, customers can choose from a variety of Mocktails. Such includes the Chai Blossom, Mint Lemonade, and Pomegranate Mule. As for hookah, Pergola offers regular, orange, and pineapple shisha, as well as a variety of house mixes such as mojito, summer paradise, and Creamsicle.
