The 1980s are making a come back. Be it the nostalgia-saturated Stranger Things, kaleidoscopic fashion lines, or droves of new wave, synth-driven music flooding the sound waves. Embrace the return of all things ’80s at Hungry Like The Wolf, which has just opened at 920 Studemont St #900.
“The ’80s are back at Hungry Like the Wolf, Houston’s only ’80s themed diner and bar,” the diner and bar writes on its website. “We invite you to revisit the ’80s with our ’80s themed menu, cocktails, vibes, ambiance and decor.”
From the Rubix Cube discoball, to MTV-inspired walls, John Hughes-movie lockers, year book photo cutout collage, vibrant artwork honoring 80’s heroes including their wall of 80’s album cover art, zany carpeting, and their retro collection of throwback gaming consoles, Hungry Like The Wolf is decked out head-to-toe in nostalgia.
Their diner-inspired menu serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner – with weekend brunches and rotating desserts. For breakfast, Hungry offers an assortment of diner classics like egg dishes, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and waffles. Their lunch and dinner menu feature comfort-food staples with appetizers such as nachos and fried string cheese, as well as salads, sandwiches, burgers, and supper options like meatloaf, chicken fried steak, and spaghetti and meatballs.
Hungry Like the Wolf is open from 7 am to 9 pm Monday and Tuesday, 7 am to 2 am Wednesday and Thursday, 9 am to 4 am Friday and Saturday, and 9 am to 10 pm on Sundays.
