We love a good beer garden. Sprawling patios, terrific beverages, and a game of cornhole or two – what’s not to love. Soon enough, Houstonians will have a new place to drink beers in the sun as construction is set to start this summer on the 21,000-square-foot beer garden in Houston’s Energy Corridor.
Ashford Beer Garden is a project from Alexandre Tolentino and Steven Salazar. The latter, previously for the Kirby Group, Salazar was the main figure behind the beloved Katy Beer Garden opened this past year. Tolentino as the former Pitch 25 beer garden general manager.
The team plans for construction to begin this summer on the massive beer garden at 1325 S. Dairy Ashford Rd. Inspired by the sprawling biergartens populating the likes of Germany, the indoor/outdoor venue will be family and pet friendly, and will feature yard games, shaded patio spaces, as well as live music.
Furthermore, the venue will boast a hearty beverage program with 100 beer taps, wine list, as well as impressive menu of spirits and cocktails.
“Ashford Beer Garden is a vibrant fusion of tradition and innovation situated at the new Ashford Yard development, along Dairy Ashford in Houston, TX,” the website states.
“Our mission is to recreate the ambiance and aesthetics of Munich’s beloved Bavarian beer gardens, marrying it with our own charming Texas hospitality. With its diverse drink offerings, welcoming ambiance, and the aspiration to become an essential part of the local community, Ashford Beer Garden is poised to redefine leisure and socializing.”
Ashford Beer Garden will be a primary tenant of the 13-acre, mixed-use Ashford Yard development in Houston’s Energy Corridor. The development, head by Market Square Companies and Tenon Property Company, plans to transform the former Shlumberger campus into a hub of retailers, residential living areas, and community spaces.
If all goes as planned, Ashford Beer Garden will open early/mid 2026.
