The 2022 FIFA World Cup returns on November 18. Whichever team you’re rooting for, you can do so at these local establishments hosting watch parties, restaurant deals, and more for the global soccer tournament. Here’s where to watch the World Cup in Houston!
Social Beer Garden
Social Beer Garden in Midtown is a two-story bar and beer garden comprised of vibrant patio seating, colorful murals, billiards and arcade games, the largest outdoor TV in Midtown, 100+ craft beers, and more. Beginning November 18, the bar will be screening every game – even the 4 am ones!
Pitch 25 HTX
Pitch 25 Beer Park is the brainchild of legendary Houston Dynamo soccer star, Brian Ching. It’s a 25,000-square-foot beer garden, sports bar, and grill. Their drink menu offers almost 100 beers on tap in addition to ciders, wines, cocktails, and frozen drinks. With multiple bar areas, 45 TVs, and a patio stacked with hammocks, high tables, couches, and swings, Pitch 25 Beer Park provides a fully-loaded atmosphere to enjoy any game. Throughout the World Cup, November 20 – December 18, the bar will be hosting a variety of World Cup parties and street festivals.
Kirby Ice House
The ever-popular Kirby Ice House is a beloved watering hole and hotspot with two Houston locations – its flagship in Upper Kirby and Memorial City location. Its third outpost has opened The Woodlands with a massive facility, endless patio, and the longest bar in Texas. For the World Cup, all three of its locations will be hosting all games starting at 1 pm.
William Price Distilling
The spirit factory in The Heights plans to screen all 7 am, 10 am, and 1 pm, on their 20-foot indoor screen on the production floor. Additionally, all USA, Mexico, England, Argentina (even the 4 am games), and Brazil matches will be hosted at William Price. Here, the distillers will have available cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, food, and fast wifi.
Kin Dee
Gnosh on authentic Thai cuisine at this charming restaurant while sipping on half-off Thai beer – Singha and Chang – for the World Cup games.
Second Draught
Located inside the Ion hub in Midtown, the Second Draught Taproom will be open at noon for USA v. Wales (11/21), USA vs. England (11/25), Mexico vs. Argentina (11/26), Portugal vs. Uruguay (11/28), and USA vs. Iran (11/29). Furthermore, Second Draught will offer $5 Scout by True Anomaly.
Arnaldo Richards Picos
Authentic Mexican institution, Arnaldo Richards Picos is offering a special food menu for the World Cup games. Featured items include a Breakfast Sandwich ($13), Tajin Wings ($14), Chilorio Cheese Fries ($16), and Chipotle Ribs ($17 for half rack, $26 for full rack). Games will be aired during normal business hours.
