What is Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling?
With roots tracing back to the ’40s, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW) is an all-female professional wrestling organization. Officially founded in 2012, TJPW is comprised of 29 wrestlers performing around 75 events per year. On its first-ever USA Solo Tour, the TJPW will stage 15 pro-wrestlers.
TJPW is known for its dramatic, high-energy and larger-than-life performances complete with storytelling, sheer athleticism, elaborate costumes, and comedic skits.

TJPW is described as a fusion of WWE-style wrestling entertainment with the pop sensitivities of Japanese idol culture. Its popularity in Japan can be in part due to its perception as a real-life extension of the heroines of manga and anime.
Major championships in TJPW include titles like Princess of Princess, Princess Tag Team, International Princess, and Wrestle Princess Championships.
TJPW performances are all-ages, though kids 14 and under will need to be accompanied by an adult.
