Spring 2026 is lining up to be a good one, Houston. Over the course of the next few months, we have the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Moon 2 Mars Festival, Oddities & Curiosities Expo — just to name a few. This April, Houston will also see the return of Tacos & Tequila Festival.
Following its debut in Houston this past year, Tacos & Tequila Festival returns to the Sam Houston Race Park on April 11 with another exciting day of throwback rap and R&B with performances by some of the biggest artists of the era on top of top-notch tacos, margaritas, and more.
Headlining Tacos & Tequila Festival in Houston this year are Three 6 Mafia and Fat Joe. Not to be overlooked, the one-day festival will feature performances by the following era hitmakers:

- Trina
- Ying Yang Twins
- Bubba Sparxxx
- Mims
- Murphy Lee
- DJ Ashton Martin
Furthermore, the festival is bringing a massive lineup of food and entertainment to the Houston area. True to its name, the event features a curated selection of chef-inspired street tacos, craft margaritas, and a dedicated tequila tasting lounge for enthusiasts.
Beyond the menu, the festival is known for its diverse attractions, including live Lucha Libre wrestling matches, a competitive salsa and queso tasting, and a showcase of exotic cars. One of the day’s most popular traditions is the signature Chihuahua beauty pageant, which remains a highlight of the event’s programming.
Tickets to Tacos & Tequila Festival in Houston are now on sale starting at $74.05 (including fees and taxes). VIP tickets and bundles are also available at various prices. VIP tickets are priced at $146.83 and include express entry, front-of-stage viewing, a commemorative lanyard, and more.
Tacos & Tequila Festival takes place at the Sam Houston Race Park on Saturday, April 11. The festival is 21-and-up.
