Immerse yourself in World Cup action at Sugar Land Town Square. Just outside Houston, Sugar Land is an Official Houston World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter. Living up to its title, Sugar Land is going all out on World Cup fun.
Kicking off this week, Sugar Land Town Square will host FREE World Cup watch parties on a massive outdoor screen. Furthermore, the city will host live cultural performances, pre- and post-match entertainment, and a lineup of international food vendors.
Admission to the Sugar Land watch parties is completely free, but to guarantee entry, fans must register beforehand. Interested parties can RSVP at the Sugar Land Town Square website here.

Notably, Sugar Land recently opened the Houston area’s very first official FIFA World Cup retail store at 2191 Texas Dr. Here, fans can score exclusive tournament apparel, collectibles, and official merchandise without having to venture into downtown Houston.
Presently, Sugar Land Town Square is planned to host World Cup watch parties on the following dates. All watch parties take place at Sugar Land Town Square at 2711 Plaza Drive.

- Friday, June 19, 7:30 pm: Brazil vs. Haiti
- Saturday, June 27, 6:30 pm: Colombia vs. Portugal
- Sunday, July 19, 2 pm: Final match
Ahead of the tournament, the city launched its new Sugar Land Town Square social district. The Sugar Land Social District is a vibrant new outdoor zone where residents and visitors can grab a drink from participating local spots and enjoy it while exploring the area.

Other coordinated soccer-themed activities in the area include Space Cowboys Soccer Week. The family-friendly celebration mixes baseball and soccer where the minor league team will host themed giveaways, youth programming, and special guest appearances at the stadium on June 12 and June 13.
On June 15 and June 16, officials will host a Sugar Land Youth Soccer Clinic at Constellation Field. The two-day clinic is available for children between the ages of 5 – 12 and is lead by Imperial Soccer Club and GFI Academy.
A Soccer Mom Meetup is also planned on Tuesday, June 16. Taking place at Talyard Brewing Co., the family-friendly event will feature a live DJ, local vendor market, World Cup-themed food and drinks, games, photo-ops, and more.
