The Rusty Krab Experience is anchoring in Houston throughout 2021. The event features its own bar, restaurant, and hotel inspired by beloved Nickelodeon series.
The event includes its own version of the Krusty Krab, and Mrs. Puff’s Boating School – dubbed the “Rusty Krab” and “Mrs. Puffie’s Boating School,” respectively. But that’s not all, the pop-up also features a recreated version of the iconic pineapple house, a jelly fish field, and more with events that include themed brunches, cosplay contests, trivia, and more sea-safe fun.
To really get the underwater party started, visitors can order from there nautical cocktail menu. Featured drinks include their Pineapple Under the Sea ($13) – Pineapple Ciroc, pineapple juice, Sprite, mango puree, and Blue Curacao; Princess Pearl ($11) – Titos, Peach Schnapps, pineapple juice, raspberry, peach rings; and their yard-glass-served Squidward The Orchestra Master ($17) wtih Midori, Malibu, Blue Curacao with edible glitter. In addition to other cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages – including The Invisible Boat Mobile mad with lemonade, Sprite, prickly pear, and strawberry – the pop-up will also serve a school of themed shots and shareables.
In regards to the present situation, the pop-up promises to uphold the state’s safety guidelines throughout its operations.
Safety precautions set for the event include:
- Required masks for entry and walkthrough unless taking photos or eating.
- Temperature checks conducted at the door.
- Reduced capacity.
- Accessible hand sanitizing wipes and stations.
- Nightly sterilization.
- Social distancing signage.
- Sneeze guards placed throughout bar and restaurant.
Tickets are now available for all the nautical nonsense taking place this year. Tickets are now on sale, priced at $30 for adults; $20 for kids aged from 2 – 15 years old. Only adults 21+ are allowed in the Rusty Krab after 6 pm. Don’t be a Squidward, strap on your best pair of suspenders and enjoy this amazing aquatic experience!
