Get ready to get loud, Texas, for the Las Vegas-founded Sick New World Festival is expanding into Texas! The Sick New World music festival, which gained massive attention after its launch in Las Vegas with some of the heaviest headliners in the genre, is expanding. Earlier this week, the festival announced its move into Fort Worth, featuring a lineup guaranteed to get the mosh pits churning.
Who is performing at Sick New World in Fort Worth?
The festival’s expansion announcement included the 2026 lineup for Sick New World Fort Worth. Headlining the festival is the legendary, politically-charged Armenian-American metal band, System of a Down. Known for iconic tracks like “Chop Suey!” and “B.Y.O.B.,” SOAD has been largely inactive in recent years, making their performance a must-see event.
Providing the atmospheric contrast to SOAD’s nu-metal intensity are Deftones. This enduring alternative metal band has remained musically active, with their most recent release, Private Music, dropping earlier this year. Furthermore, iconic thrash metal outfit, Slayer, will also top the bill, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their pioneering record, Reign in Blood.

The top bill at Sick New World in Fort Worth will also feature major performances from Evanescence, Ministry, AFI, and The Prodigy.
The festival’s extensive lineup offers a diverse snapshot of metal and alternative music, including established artists like The Melvins, Power Trip, Underoath, Norma Jean, Poison The Well, Clutch, and She Wants Revenge.
The undercard is not to be ignored either; the festival will also feature performances by Knocked Loose, Boy Harsher, Deafheaven, Superheaven, Alien Ant Farm, Dying Wish, and much more.
