Let the good times roll.
A new bowling alley has rolled into town – and its vibes are smashing. Palace Social, a bowling alley with an arcade, laser tag arena, full-service bar, restaurant, lounge and more has just opened at 4191 Bellaire Blvd. [Featured image: @thepalacesocial]
Located in the Southside Commons, replacing the former Palace Bowing Lanes, Palace Social is a bowling alley and entertainment center with a vintage look reminiscent of the bowling craze of the 60s. Its modern take on retro chic was helmed by BLKBOX creative branding agency. The group worked alongside Tramonte Design Studio, which fitted interior elements in a contemporary rustic fashion.
“We’re excited to welcome guests of all ages to Palace Social, drawing on the memories of the past with a new vision of what a neighborhood entertainment concept can be,” Billy Forney, Palace Social CEO told Bellaire Connect.
In addition to 8 pristine lanes, the 27,000-square-foot space includes a 159-seat open area lounge and restaurant – the latter to dabble in Southern and American fare – a full-service bar, as well as a sizable arcade, dual multi-sport simulators, an e-sports space, private dining room, and multiple event rooms fitted with karaoke systems and massive flatscreen TVs.
“Our goal is to tap into the nostalgia that folks have for the former Palace Bowling Lanes with food, beverage, gaming, and entertainment offerings that resonate with today’s tastes. We fully intend for new memories to be made at Palace Social, which has been a true community-driven project.”
The Palace Social is now officially open.
