Once a place where Houstonians would stop and shop, an old Randalls in the Bay Pointe Shopping Center will become a new 40,000-square-foot Houston-area pickleball destination where players can rally at their leisure.
Elite Pickleball Club is slated to open its second Houston-area pickleball facility in the space formerly occupied by Randalls at the Bay Pointe Shopping Center in Clear Lake. After Randalls cleared out back in 2020, the space has since been vacant.
With a prospective opening date of January 2025, Elite plans to feature 13-14 courts at the Clear Lake facility. Elie touts itself at the “first, fully dedicated indoor Pickleball facility in Houston, TX”.
