If you need a break from the holiday music, tune into Texas Mix 105.3 FM, where the station is giving the people what they really want for the holidays: more Selena. From hit singles, duets, and covers, the “home of the Tex-Mex queen” has delved into the extensive catalogue of the late singer.
The station has also featured a number of interview segments. One in which featured Bobby Pulido, whose song Desvelado – “sleepless” in English – which featured on his breakthrough eponymous record, was dedicated to Selena.
Earlier this month, Netflix debuted the first installment of its new biopic series about the beloved Mexican artist and her family. Selena: The Series chronicles the life and hardships of the Quintanilla family, their rise to success, and Selena’s rise to stardom.
Listeners can also find Selena’s full catalogue on Spotify. Which includes compilations, live albums, and soundtracks from the Netflix series as well as the film made in 1997 starring Jennifer Lopez.
