Looking for something new and exciting for date night, team outing, friendship? AGR Adventure Park is an adrenaline-fueled hot spot in Houston with locations in the northern Heights and Katy. Here, visitors can participate in axe throwing, paintball, laser tag, and follow up the action with a round of drinks at the bar and restaurant.
While Houston is home to many gaming bars – from speakeasy arcades to dive bar pinball hangouts, Houstonians can find a little more action at AGR Sports Adventure Park.
AGR Sports Adventure Park is a multi-purpose action sports arena and gastrobar. The concept originated in Ukraine 15 years ago, and has since opened two locations in the United States – both of which in Houston.
As mentioned, AGR features paintball, axe-throwing, tactical laser tag, and a gastrobar facility all in one indoor entertainment venue. For aspiring players, their indoor paintball course is tailored by age group – starting with low-impact paintball for kids seven and up as well as teen and adult games. Paintball is also available in different game modes, including: zombie mode, capture the flag, wild wild west, and more.
At AGR, axe-throwing is available is various themed games like Battleship, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Attack of the Zombies. Priced at $30 per person for an hour-long experience, all lanes feature a no bounce border system, so visitors don’t have to worry about any unwanted ricochet action.
One of the most popular games at AGR is tactical laser tag, which is available in 20 game modes, beginning at $12 per person. Other activities at AGR include miniball (aka paintball without the pain), bazooka ball, and nerf wars.
The restaurant features typical gastropub items like wings, burgers, pizza, salads, and desserts. Bar-wise, visitors can enjoy a variety of cocktails, spirits, and imported and domestic beer.
AGR Adventure Park is open from 10 am to 10 pm weekly.
