Netflix has announced the launch of Netflix House, an experiential venue where fans can enjoy immersive pop-up experiences, shopping outlets, and restaurants with menus based on its hit shows. The company presently has plans to open only two locations in the country, with one Netflix House in Texas.
Galleria Dallas will be the home of the coming Netflix House. Slated to open in 2025, the venue will stage rotating and regularly updated out-of-this-world pop-up experiences based on the platform’s hit TV shows, ranging from Stranger Things, to Squid Game, Money Heist, and Bridgerton.
“At Netflix House, you can enjoy regularly updated immersive experiences, indulge in retail therapy, and get a taste — literally — of your favorite Netflix series and films through unique food and drink offerings,” says Marian Lee, Netflix’s Chief Marketing Officer in a press release.
“We’ve launched more than 50 experiences in 25 cities, and Netflix House represents the next generation of our distinctive offerings. The venues will bring our beloved stories to life in new, ever-changing, and unexpected ways.”
Each location will span over 100,000 square feet. On top of its vast list of experiences, the venue will feature an on-site restaurant with food inspired by its shows, as well as a shopping experience where fans can pick up exclusive merchandise – not excluding the iconic Hellfire Club T-shirt.
“Netflix House will go one step further and create an unforgettable venue to explore your favorite Netflix stories and characters beyond the screen year-round.”
As for how Netflix ended up selecting Galleria Dallas as one of only two locations – the other being the King of Prussia in Pennsylvania – the company stated it was because the two were among America’s most popular shopping centers with high foot traffic and hundreds of retailers.
Fans can also expect to have plenty of photo-ops at the upcoming Netflix House in Texas, Outside the venue will be a number of mural mash-ups, sculptures, and more of their favorite Netflix characters and titles.
