
March is looking pretty good for Houston. The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Spring Break, Houston Holi Festival, are just some of the exciting experiences lined up for this March.
Houstonians can also look forward to the exciting return of Space Center Houston’s Moon 2 Mars Festival, which is set to feature two weeks of space-themed exhibitions, battle bots, and a performance from alt-rock icons Third Eye Blind.

The 4th annual Moon 2 Mars festival kicks off Sunday, March 9. Billed as the largest space-themed festival in Texas, Moon 2 Mars will feature 13 days of fascinating and engaging exhibitions, hands-on demonstrations, cutting-edge technology, live music, stellar food, and more at Space Center Houston.
The all-ages, out-of-this-world festival is set to feature everything from a Lunar Terrain Vehicles showcase, interactive robotic games and challenges, International Space Station (ISS) model, science DJs, build-your-own-rocket stations, battle bots (second weekend), and a cosmic array of photo-ops.
While visiting Space Center Houston, festival-goers can also check out all of the venue’s exciting exhibitions and experiences including an immersive screening of The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks at the venue’s newly renovated theater.
On Saturday, March 15, festival-goers can enjoy a live performance from iconic ’90s alt-rock group, Third Eye Blind. The second weekend, the festival feature a to-be-named headliner on March 22.
Moon 2 Mars Festival tickets are now on sale and are included with price of admission at Space Center Houston, at the event website. General Admission tickets from adults start at $29.95. Senior tickets start at $27.95 while child tickets (ages 4 – 11) start at $24.95.
The 4th annual Moon 2 Mars festival takes place at Space Center Houston located at 1601 E NASA Parkway from Sunday, March 9, to Saturday, March 22.
