Following the closure of Miss Carousel this past summer, Houston’s Agricole Hospitality was swift to fill the space with another electric bar venue. Lightnin’s Good Times is now open at 1201 St. Emanuel in East Downtown, Houston.
Agricole Hospitality is one of the city’s premier bar, restaurant, concept groups. The team behind Coltivare Pizza & Garden, EZ’s Liquor Lounge, Eight Row Flint, and Vinny’s. The group’s latest concept has just opened its latest concept Lightnin’s Good Times next door to Vinny’s in East Downtown.
“We have officially thrown our doors open! 👏 We’re beyond ready to be your new go-to when heading to East Downtown.,” the bar wrote in an Instagram post. ”Plenty of TVs for watching the game, ice cold drinks, pool tables, pinball machines, and live music, all with a bangin’ vibe.”
In an effort to ensure vibes and good times, the bar provides affordable drinks, live music, and a floor for dancin’.
“With so much action — from sports games to entertainment and nightlife happening in EaDo, we wanted to create a space that would match the energy and needs of the area, while maintaining our standards of beverage and hospitality,” said Agricole Hospitality owners Vinceny Huynh, Ryan Pera, and Morgan Weber said in a statement.
Lightnin’s Good Times is now open at 1201 Emanuel St. and is open from 2 pm to 2 am Mondays through Fridays and from 11 am to 2 am on weekends.
