Maryland-based Atlas Restaurant Group is opening its high concept in Houston this Wednesday.
Atlas Restaurant Group, responsible for some key culinary concepts in Houston, including Ouzo Bay and Loch Bar in River Oaks District, is debuting its latest project, Marmo on April 6 at the Montrose Collective.
This Wednesday, Houston tastemakers can sink their teeth into the new Marmo modern Italian chophouse. Marmo is a concept from Atlas Restaurant Group, a national hospitality group based in Baltimore behind numerous award-winning restaurants in Maryland, Florida, and Texas.
“Houston has always had an affinity for quality Italian cuisine, and I am ecstatic to be part of the team bringing this high-quality addition to the Montrose area, a longtime dining destination for both locals and visitors,” said Director of Operations Scott Sulma in a press release.
“Marmo is special because it has the unique ability to be both a casual neighborhood restaurant and an elevated dining destination.”
The highly anticipated restaurant is suited to host up to 120 patrons. Curated by the partnership of Atlas Chef Partner Julian Marucci and Executive Chef Eli Jackson, Marmo is set to star premium, hand-cut local, domestic, and international meats. Its menu will also see seafood specialties such as red snapper, hand-rolled pastas such as the Squid Ink Campanelle, as well as Italian classics including chicken and eggplant parmigiana, chicken marsala and veal chop Milanese.
