Here to usher in the holiday season, is the long-running Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market. Celebrating its 45th anniversary, the Houston Nutcracker Ballet Market is a massive annual holiday bazaar hosted at NRG Stadium packed with hundreds of vendors, booths, and yuletide festivities.
The holiday market had humble beginnings in 1981, starting as a small bazaar to support the Houston Ballet Foundation, its academy, and scholarship initiatives. Over the past 45 years, it has scaled up significantly, becoming a major annual event. In 2024, the market saw nearly 100,000 shoppers, raising $6 million for the Houston Ballet from its $23 million in sales. Since its inception, the market has raised $97.6 million for the ballet.

Returning November 13, the Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market is an unparalleled holiday shopping experience with over 280 vendors featuring thousands of unique gifts, among seasonal decor, jewelry, fashion, gourmet treats, and more. New vendors this year include True Honey Teas, Hide and Chic, Winnie Lou, and Let Me Snack. Favorite returning vendors include Round Top Collection, All of Us, Treasured Accessories, Dog Collar World, as well as ballet’s own Nutcracker Boutique.
The Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market runs from Thursday, November 13, to Sunday, November 16. Tickets are priced at $20 at NRG ticket windows (cash/check only). Tickets are also available online via major ticketing platforms. Children 2 and under are permitted free entrance.
The market will also feature a variety of special events including the Wells Fargo Preview Party on November 12, Snow Queen’s Fashion Show and Luncheon on November 13, and Sugar Plum’s Fashion Show and Luncheon on November 14. All Nutcracker Ballet Market special events are ticketed.
