Hello, holidays: Houston’s first drive-thru animated Christmas light experience has rolled into Spring for the joyous season.
“Don’t miss the Brightest Show South of the North Pole,” the group writes on its Facebook page. “Electric holiday attraction features millions of lights synchronized to a festive mix of music and includes entertainment while you wait.”
Light Park has two locations in the Houston area, one in the parking lot of Typhoon Texas Waterpark at 555 Katy Fort Bend Rd in Katy and one in the Hurricane Harbor parking lot at 21300 Interstate 45 N.
The timing of the experience depends on the traffic flow, but according to the company, ought to last between 30 to 40 minutes on week days, and between 60-90 minutes on busy nights. Pre-season tickets are on sale now starting at $25 per vehicle (+ fees).
The light spectacle opens tomorrow, November 4, and will be open every night of the week between 5:30 pm and 10 pm until January 1.
In another Christmas news, Zoo Lights has returned to the Houston Zoo with myriads of enchanting attractions. Such displays include their 4D forest, towering 33-foot tall tree.
Additionally, Space Center Houston announced the opening of their annual Galaxy Lights holiday display on November 12, billing it as “the most technologically advanced light display in Texas” – and that’s no hyperbole.
