Anyone that’s ever driven through Texas knows that Buc-cee’s is a mandatory stop. Wherever you’re going, chances are that you’ll pass a Buc-cee’s gas station – the billboards will point the way – where you’ll find all sorts of delightful merchandise, snacks, barbecue bites, and more. While there are numerous Buc-cee’s gas stations with these amenities scattered throughout the Houston area – and the country for that matter – there’s only one Buc-cee’s coffee shop and espresso bar in the world and it’s located just outside Houston.
The Buc-cee’s coffee shop is named Buc-cee’s Beanery. It’s unclear as to when it opened, as the information hasn’t been publicly documented to our knowledge – though reports of Buc-cee’s Beaneary began to emerge around 2017. The venue is located Lake Jackson in Brazoria County – the hometown of Buc-cee’s founder, Arch “Beaver” Aplin III, as well as the first-ever Buc-cee’s.

An hour drive or so from Downtown, Houston, the Buc-cee’s Beanery store is quaint in size, much smaller than say the 60,000-square-foot Buc-cee’s in Katy that boasts the world’s longest car wash. Tucked inside the Lake Jackson Buc-cee’s at 598 TX-332 is a one-of-a-kind (for Buc-cee’s, anyway) coffee bar. While any given Buc-cee’s serves drip coffee, Buc-cee’s Beanery offers a more expansive selection from flavored coffee and cold brew, to mochas and frappes – all at affordable prices.
Frappes and specialty drinks include the White Chocolate Coffee, Caramel Macchiato, and Chocolate Hazelnut Frappe – the latter the most expensive coffee drink on the menu priced at $5.49.

In addition to its coffee drinks, Buc-cee’s Beanery also serves an assortment of teas (including sweet tea), smoothies, and soft beverages as well as almond, oat, and soy milk. A selection of breakfast eats are also available at Buc-cee’s Beanery. The venue is also equipped with a drive-thru as well as an on-site dog park on the front lawn of the store if your four-legged friend needs to work off some steam on a road trip.
Buc-cee’s Beanery is located at 598 TX-332 in Lake Jackson, Texas.
