Coming to Lower Westheimer this December is 1111 – a buzzworthy new cocktail destination that marries world-class mixology, Michelin-certified bites, and a stunning worldly design.
1111 is a concept from a superstar team comprised of Chef Emmanuel Chavez and hospitality hitmakers, Army Sadeghi and Brandon Duliakas. This past fall, Chavez became one of just six Houston chefs to earn a Michelin Star for his Tatémo Mexican restaurant. For 1111, Chavez has curated an elevated menu of small plates and shareables with a deliberate theatrical focus .
Featured dishes at the new 1111 concept include: bite-sized wagyu empanadas and tableside prepared tuna tostadas. The menu will also feature signature entrées that include the Contramar-style grilled whole fish with homemade small corn tortillas and a pair of salsas.

“Chef Chavez brings unmatched precision and poetry to every plate,” said Sadeghi in a press release. “This is not bar food — it’s a culinary journey that stands shoulder to shoulder with the best restaurants in the city.”
Sadeghi and Duliakas, the minds behind the recently opened Melrose cocktail bar in Montrose, have collaborated with numerous award-winning mixologists consultants to shape their cocktail program at 1111. At 1111, the team plan to offer a rotating menu of inventive, high-level cocktails with house infusions and rare ingredients.
“Every cocktail here is a conversation,” Duliakas said in a press release. “Houstonians have discerning tastes and have come to expect high-level cocktail menus, and we plan to deliver on that.”

With 1111, the group aims to imbue the space with performance and theatricality, tapping a LA-based architectural lighting studio to create “a sculptural interplay of light and shadow that frames each drink as part of the experience”.
Other interior elements include its centerpiece: a 26-foot bar serving as a stage for omakase-style mixology stations – a first for Houston.
1111 is slated to open this December in Lower Westheimer in Montrose in the company of Uchi, Drake’s Hollywood, and Nando’s. Stay tuned for more details!
