WWE, in collaboration with the Houston Astros and Houston First Corporation, has officially announced that Survivor Series: WarGames is heading to Daikin Park in Houston this November.
This major Premium Live Event marks Survivor Series’ highly anticipated return to Houston for the first time since 2017, and the first WWE event at Daikin Park since the 2020 Royal Rumble.
Following last year’s record-breaking event at San Diego’s Petco Park, this will be the second consecutive year that Survivor Series: WarGames is hosted in a major sports stadium.
“We are proud to be able to help bring one of the world’s premier entertainment brands to Houston… Hosting WWE Survivor Series will bring thousands of passionate fans to our city and generate a significant economic impact for the community.”
Over the past few decades, Houston has hosted numerous WWE events, including WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown, and the Survivor Series.
“We are excited to host the WWE Survivor Series at Daikin Park, just the second time this world class event will be held in a Major League stadium,” said Rachel Quan, Vice President, Special Events for the Houston Astros in a press release.
“The Houston Astros and Daikin Park take great pride in showcasing our city through big events – from concerts, to the World Baseball Classic and beyond. Having a WWE event in our park for the first time since 2020 is another special event our team is excited to bring to our ballpark and our city.”
