The 2026 World Cup final kicks off at 2 pm on Sunday, July 19. Before which, there are two semi-final games that will determine which two countries will face-off in the ultimate international sports spectacle. The remaining teams: France, Spain, Argentina, and England have all previously won the World Cup. Whichever teams emerge to the final match – it’s sure to be a nail-biter.
Throughout the tournament, Shell Energy Stadium has continued to host the largest World Cup watch parties in the Houston area outside Houston Stadium– welcoming over 100,000 fans in total. The event is completely free to attend, but visitors must first claim their tickets through the stadium’s website here. As of this article, tickets are still available. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. With the packed crowds the stadium has seen for previous matches, fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early.
As for the viewing experience itself, the stadium has outfitted gigantic LED viewing boards within the seating bowl along with its giant concourse screens and TVs.
In conjunction with the World Cup final screening this Sunday, the stadium will also host the free, community L.O.U.D. Fest. Taking place throughout the day, the festival will feature a variety of interactive fan experiences, live music, and food and beverages.
