Taking over the NRG Center from September 26–27, 2026, Tokyo X is Houston’s premier indoor Japanese food, anime, and pop culture festival. Seamlessly blending Japan’s rich cultural history with its ultra-modern trends, this action-packed weekend features everything from martial arts demonstrations and live music to high-stakes cosplay contests and ramen-eating face-offs.
The 2026 edition of Tokyo X is scaling up to feature more than 600 vendors alongside live performances, an immersive Samurai Exhibit, authentic cultural showcases, and curated culinary experiences.
