Described as an “experiential golf and casual dining concept”, Popstroke is a concept of golfing legend, Tiger Woods, whose technologically-advanced putt putt facility, restaurant, and beer garden is now open at 23110 Grand Circle Boulevard in Katy.
The massive entertainment venue will consist of two 18-hole golf courses, a patio restaurant complete with rooftop bar, beer garden, and ice cream parlor – according to Eater.
Players on the green will be able to order from the bar using the Popstroke app.
“Let’s have a BIG TX WELCOME to our newest courses debuting this weekend in Houston/ Katy, TX,” the venue wrote in an Instagram post. “Designed by @tigerwoods and his @tgr.design team!”
While details are presently scarce, the restaurant will feature a rooftop bar, lounge bar area, beer garden, as well as a designated space for private parties. At the beer garden, visitors will find various patio games such as ping pong, foosball, and cornhole. The area will also have a playground space for children.
Menu-wise, the restaurant will gourmet finger foods not excluding tacos, sandwiches, wings, salads, and more.
Currently, Popstroke has four locations – all of which in Florida – in December, the company plans to open its first location outside the Orange State in none other than Houston, Texas.
Popstroke is officially open at 23110 Grand Circle Boulevard in Katy. No reservations are required. Popstroke also has plans to open in Glendale and Scottsdale in Arizona.
Popstroke won’t be the only of its kind in Houston. This past season, The Puttery opened in Sawyer Yards, as a cocktail-driven, tech-infused mini-golf concept. Furthermore, UK-based Puttshack plans to open its upscale, tech-infused facility in Houston by the end of this year.
