Not something you see every day.
Talk about Sunday scaries. Last night a video surfaced of a Serengeti-sized tiger on the prowl in Memorial Houston near Highway 6. [Featured image: @Ignacio Yufera / Biosphoto / Biosphoto via AFP]
Upon seeing the tiger, neighbors noticed that it was wearing a collar:
“It has a collar. It is somebody’s pet,” said Maria Torres, eyewitness who captured the cat on camera.

While neighboring bystanders sought shelter in the confines of their cars and homes, an armed man – an off-duty deputy according to abc13 – took more active measures, drawing a weapon on the tiger as it approached him in the street.
After a very tense moment in which the tiger prowled within feet of the man, its apparent owner claimed the tiger, assuring the armed man: “I’ll get him. I’ll get him.”

Its alleged owner then corralled the tiger by the collar – as you would a dog – and lead it back into his home.
“F*ck you and your f*cking tiger,” the off-duty officer said.
Later, the tiger was loaded into a white vehicle and whisked away before police arrived on the scene.
