Whether you fancy yourself a sneakerhead, fashionita, a collector, or anywhere in between, check this out. Thriller Con is taking over the George R. Brown Convention Center this weekend, featuring over 300 vendors, offering vintage apparel, streetwear, and more.
Billed as “the largest vintage clothing and collectible market in Houston“, ThrillerCon is an event organized by Thriller Thrifts LLC (otherwise known as ThrillerTX). It brings together hundreds of vendors from across Texas and beyond for a one-day immersive shopping and cultural experience focused on vintage fashion, sneakers, trading cards, and streetwear culture.
This year, ThrillerCon arrives in Houston on Saturday, August 8. Running from 12 pm to 6 pm, Thriller Con will occupy Hall B of the George R. Brown Convention Center with a massive selection of streetwear, vintage wares, sneakers, and more:
“Get ready for Houston’s biggest fashion and culture event of the year,” the event website reads. “ThrillerCon brings together over 200+ vendors from across the country, creating a one-day marketplace celebrating everything from vintage clothing, sneakers, and streetwear to trading card games, collectibles, art, food, and music”.
In addition to its sprawling merchandise selection, ThrillerCon will also feature live DJ sets running throughout the day as well as on-site food and drink vendors.
General admission to ThrillerCon in Houston is completely free. Interested parties can opt to pay extra for early admission – priced at $12 – with doors opening to ticketholders two hours early. The event also features a VIP early admission option. Priced at $27, this includes early entry as well as a free tote bag.
