Houston’s ’80s electro-disco sanctuary, Etron Nightclub, is celebrating the New Year with the best of the ’80s; the event has no cover and runs from 9 pm to 2 am.
2. Numbers Nightclub
Alternative music haven, Numbers Nightclub, is ushering in the New Year with complementary party favors, hits from DJ Wes Wallace, and a $2,023 cash ball drop; the event has no cover and runs from 9 pm to 2 am.. 9 pm – 2:30 am.
3. Cherry Bar HTX
Enjoy all the bubbles at Cherry Bar’s no cover New Year’s Eve party. Event is open from 8 pm to 2 am.

4. POST HTX
POST HTX is throwing hosting a New Year’s Countdown atop their stunning Skylawn. With their exceptional Winter Wonderlawn experience in effect, visitors can enjoy live DJs, skyline views, as well as their multiple bars and rooftop. Furthermore, the venue is hosting a Bass Wave NYE celebration at their North Docks area, while putting on Skyline ’23 event at their Outpost rooftop pavilion event space.

Houston’s boozy new mini-golf course is throwing a special New Year’s Eve bash. Admission includes a round of golf as well as dance floor access.
6. Utopia Social Club
Utopia Social Club in Downtown, Houston is hosting their Outro/Intro New Year’s Eve rooftop party this Saturday night. Tickets start at $99.99.

7. Gatsby House New Year’s Eve Hilton-Americas Houston

8. New Year’s Eve Black & White Masquerade Ball

Heralded by many as having the best margarita in town, El Big Bad in First Ward, is throwing their annual Year of the Unicorn New Year’s Eve party. Here, patrons can enjoy their excellent patio will imbibing the legendary unicorn cocktail as well as the other festivities including: ball drop, costume contest, buffet, and more! Tickets priced from $25 – $150.

One of our favorite all-time patios in Houston is reprising their New Year’s Eve Bash with plenty of drinks, stunning art installations, hammocks, and live music from acts including Amtrac, Uncle Tino, Lilly Aviana, Dende, and DJ Rosez.

Ready to laugh off the past few years? The Secret Group comedy club and music venue are ringing in the new year with drink specials, ticket giveaways, and a $1000 balloon drop. The event funs from 7 pm to 2 am. Free entrance with RSVP before 11 pm, $10 after 11. VIP options available for $60 that include access to VIP lounge and bottle of champagne.

16. Khruangbin at 713 Music Hall
The funky hometown psyche-rock outfit are holding a New Year’s Eve gig at Houston’s cutting-edge new venue at POST Houston. With openers including Kornbread and Aidan Kennedy, tickets are still on sale starting at $55.
17. Last Concert Cafe
Houston’s oldest live music venue and Tex-Mex cafe are hosting a rockin’ NYE party with live music courtesy of the Hightailers and Griffin Swank. The festivities start at 8 pm; tickets are priced at $15, $25 at the door.
18. Ireland Concert at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck
On Irish time? Never to worry, you can celebrate the New Year at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck with music from traditional Irish artists, Ulla and Piper Jones from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Entry priced at $30.

19. Sugarland Holiday Lights
Sugar Land Holiday Lights is a massive spectacle that features over 3 million lights, 8 themed areas, holiday shopping, special events, food, and more! On New Year’s Eve, it’ll host a fireworks show. Tickets are priced at $23 for adults.
20. Children’s Museum
Gather the kiddos for a Rockin’ New Year’s Noon at the Children’s Museum. From 10 am to 12:30 pm, the event celebrates the New Year with a balldrop at noon, as well as groovy music, live entertainers, and festive party favors. Tickets are priced at $12 for adults as well as children, $11 for seniors.
21. New Year’s Eve at CityCentre
Beginning at 9:30 pm, CityCentre is hosting a NYE celebration in the plaza with live music courtesy of dance band, People’s Choice, as well as countdown to midnight and firework show. The venue will also be hosting a Noon Year’s Eve event for the kiddos from 11 am – 1 pm.
