Whether you’re sparing yourself the agony that is Turkey Day cooking, or have in mind to spend the day with a party of one or two, take a look at these 10 Houston Thanksgiving restaurants that are whipping up special for the day of thanks.
1. Amrina
The newly opened princess-themed Woodlands restaurant will offer a special Thanksgiving special this November. From noon to 7 pm on Thanksgiving Day, Amrina will feature a five-course menu along with family-style sides priced at $85 per person. Dishes include Brussel sprouts with parmesan, creamy garlic mashed potatoes, cornbread and sausage stuffing.
The menu is also available to-go. For these orders, customers can also opt for the Royal Turkey Offering ($350) which includes an 8-12 pound whole roasted turkey with rum glaze. Orders must be placed by November 19.
2. Arnaldo Richard’s Picos
The premier Mexican restaurant in Greenway/Upper Kirby is offering an array of scrumptious desserts for Thanksgiving Day. Available for pickup, desserts include Pumpkin Flan (serves 8-16), Pumpkin Cheesecake, Coconut Cheesecake, Brownie Cheesecake or Dulce de Leche Cheesecake. The flan is available in 8-inch or 10-inch sizes. All cheesecakes are 10 inches. Final day to order is November 20.
3. Steak 48
Steak 48, the standout River Oaks steak restaurant, will be offering Thanksgiving specials as well as their full menu on the national holiday. The Chef’s Traditional Dinner ($74) will include turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie to top it all off. The restaurant will be open from noon to 9 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
4. Eunice
Experience a Cajun-inspired Thanksgiving feast this year at Eunice. The Creole-Cajun restaurant will be open from 11 am to 4 pm on November 23 will their full menu as well as holiday specials. Specials include the Pumpkin Bisque, Cajun-Stuffed Turkey and Fixins, Urban Harvest Vegetable Ragout, Crawfish and Cornbread Stuffing, Pumpkin Pie Tart, and Bourbon Pecan Pie.
Orders are also available to-go if made before November 17.
5. Bludorn
The highly praised new French-inspired restaurant from Chef Aaron Bludorn will feature a carefully-crafted, three-course menu on Thanksgiving. Priced at $105 per person, the menu will feature Smoke Maitake Mushrooms, a turkey entree complete with classic holiday sides, and a selection of tasty desserts.
Bludorn is also offering a special two-course menu for kids 12 and under ($55) that include an entree and dessert. The restaurant will be open from 11:30 am – 7 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
6. Dario’s Steakhouse & Seafood
Enjoy timeless holiday favorites this Thanksgiving at Dario’s Steakhouse & Seafood restaurant in Houston. Available from 11 am – 6 pm on Thursday November 23, the Thanksgiving special at Dario’s will feature a range of options including: Lobster Bisque, Texas Quail, traditional turkey, Chilean Sea Bass, pecan pie, and more!
The Thanksgiving feast at Dario’s is priced at $69 per person. Reservations are required. Meals are also available for take-out.
7. Sorriso’s Italian Kitchen
The Woodlands Italian kitchen is offering a special, chef-curated turkey feast this Thanksgiving. Available from 5 pm – 9 pm, the holiday dinner is set to include cranberry mostarda, focaccia panzanella, olive oil mashed potatoes, and guanciale-braised caollard green – all complementing the roasted turkey centerpiece.
8. Marvino’s Italian Steakhouse
From 10:30 am – 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day, Marvino’s Italian Steakhouse will offers a special Thanksgiving menu. Priced at $65 per person, Marvino’s menu will feature a range of seasonal favorites including butternut squash soup, fall salad, prime rib, pumpkin cheesecake, and more. Reservations are required; the menu is also available for takeout.
9. Loro
This Thanksgiving, the acclaimed culinary brainchild of Franklin’s Aaron Franklin and Uchi’s Tyson Cole is celebrating with a special Thanksgiving to-go package. Priced at $190, the special serves 4-6 people and includes: Post Oak-smoked turkey breast, turkey & sage gravy, kale and apple salad, confit marble potatoes, toasted brioche stuffing, creamed spinach and arugula, and Yuzu and peach cobbler.
10. Goode Company
Houston-favorite restaurant Goode Company will once again be offering special Thanksgiving meal offerings for the holidays. Here, customers can opt for meal kits serving 6-8 people, or opt for menu items a la carte. Meal kits are priced at $220 for the turkey breast meal and $230 for the whole turkey meal.
The meal kits include the customer’s choice of turkey, sausage & pecan bread stuffing, potatoes au gratin, sweet potato gratin, old-school green bean casserole, roasted cranberry sauce, dinner rolls with whipped sea salt honey butter, and Brazos bottom pecan pie.
