Shoot The Moon is a concept project from the minds behind some of Houston’s culinary staples that include Anvil Bar & Refuge, Hay Merchant, Underbelly, and UB Preserve. Executive Director, Kevin Floyd, along with Culinary Director Dax McAnear and Development Director Jonas Herd have teamed up to bring us Shoot The Moon.
The fast-casual bar and restaurant allows visitors to tap themselves out with their given access card at their extensive self-service selection of beers, wine, cider, and spirits such as vodka, bourbon, and top-shelf whiskeys.
With the card, bar goers pay by the ounce, with tastes starting at a quarter. Prices vary but full pours start at $3.50, cocktail options are also pay what you pour.
Tap attendants will also be on hand to aid the experience.
Shoot The Moon’s kitchen serves small plates, entrees, as well as a vibrant variety of pizzas that include a Taco Pizza and a Frito Pie Pie. The restaurant also offers Whole30, keto, paleo and gluten-free options.
The bar and restaurant is slated to open on July 26 at 8155 Long Point Rd.
